BookTrust approached us to develop illustrations, applied to posters, banners and certificates to promote Children’s Book Week. The brief stated that they should be colourful, illustrative and all about reading being fun and imaginative.
We developed a route that showed the diversity of books in the Great Books Guide – showing all sorts of characters and themes that were in the books listed. We developed the illustrations to appeal to a young audience and their parents. Each illustration was worked into BookTrust’s ‘B’ logo shape to help keep the campaign on-brand.
