Focus 12, a drug rehabilitation charity, worked with The Gig Company to curate a fundraising dinner event hosted by Van Morrison. We were approached to create the event name, identity and collateral for the evening. The brief was to establish an identity that celebrated those who have overcome addiction.
We undertook a naming workshop through which ‘Life & Soul’ was proposed and selected. From this we created a look and feel that had a documentary aesthetic, with powerful black and white imagery that was offset by intricate hand illustrated typographic banners and symbols. The identity was rolled out over a commemorative brochure and on screen graphics for the event.
