The Challenge

Prior to Suggs embarking on his 2013 ‘My Life Story’ tour, his management briefed us to create the supporting promotion and advertising campaign. The brief was to create an aesthetic that represented the show as honest and frank stand-up, depicting the ups and downs of Suggs’ life.

The Solution

Having read the transcript of the show, a no holds barred performance about the highs and lows of a life led in the limelight, we felt the image fronting the campaign should represent this; so we chose a close-up, clinical shot. In the background we created an image montage made up of the scrapbook assets that we had collated while designing Suggs’ website.
