Talent Match London is a Big Lottery Fund partnership of organisations that use shared learning and test innovative, youth-led solutions to tackle the issue of unemployment among 18 to 24 year olds. Ave were commissioned to refresh its brand identity and roll out a new suite of collateral that would be representative of the services they deliver, and appeal to its diverse audience groups.
Talent Match London wanted to retain the hand drawn skyline of London as an iconic part of the established programme look and feel. We wanted to explore a visual language that would contrast with this hand drawn aesthetic, and also reflect its relationship with the new London Youth brand. The anglular typography of the London Youth brand were further developed and broken down, to create a grid of triangles with a translucent, energy-filled texture. This colourful system, along with new fonts and the bold photography of participants, has been applied across reports, templates, posters and banners.
